A 19th century American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial fraternity sword by M.C. Lilley in its metal scabbard. Having a fluted pommel, a wooden handle and metal crosspiece. The scabbard having a red enamel cross with DAMASCUS 5 NEWARK N.J. K.T. IN HOC SIGNO & VINCES. The double edged blade etched with the owners name Harry R. Klein. and adorned with Masonic symbols including an elaborate battle scene and the makers name: The Lilley Arms Co. Columbus Ohio. Blade length 75.5cms.
