A large scratch built model of the steamship SS Tudno. Mid 20th century, a pleasure steamer under the flag of Liverpool and Wales Steamship Co., with a wood hull and deck, length 150cm, beam 20cm. The popular pleasure steamer was requisitioned in 1939 at the outbreak of the Second World War by the Admiralty and played a significant role in the evacuation of troops from Dunkirk in 1940. Finally, in 1963, she was scrapped in Ghent.
