A good graduated pair of 19th century papier mache trays, with gilt decoration on a scarlet red ground, largest 76cm wide. (2)
Smaller tray: A few areas of loss to gallery edges, some wear to gilding, with some surface scratching, minor cracks to 'tray' surface.
Large tray: Crack through gallery corner, leading to further crack that runs along gallery edge and base approximately 10 inches long. A few deep scratches to tray surface. Rubbing to gilt decoration.
