Seven West German mid 20th century studio pottery vases, two with Carstens Tonieshof mark, mixed heights and colours. Tallest 25 cm (see illustration).
On the vase to the back row right-hand side the crazing effect paintwork is wearing off around the base, however it is free from any chips, or cracks. The blue vase to the left-hand side has some chips to the inside rim, a small glaze fault to the rim and a small chip to one of the ribbed sections. The red topped vase to the front row left-hand side has a chip to the foot on the underside, vase to the front row centre has three small chips to the lower quarter of the vase and the vase to the front row right-hand side has some pinprick glaze faults to the yellow section and some crazing to the brown lower section.
