1903 (Associated) Water bottle Aluminium Infantry and Carrier MKII Dated 1917, An example of the MKII water bottle carrier which is associated with the 1903 equipment. The carrier contains the scarce short lived aluminium infantry water bottle this is dated on the neck 1915 and retaining its thick shoddy wool cover to which the string of the water bottle cork has been sewn. The carrier is dated 1917 and made by Geo W H Hathaway Walsall. The canvas part of the shoulder strap is named to Capt Birchall Gloucestershire Yeomanry.
