Óglaigh na hÉireann 1970s/80s riot helmet. A 1950s Mk III 'turtle' steel combat helmet, with liner, adapted in 1970s by Irish Army Ordnance Corps for use in riot control by attachment of a hinged perspex visor. Collection of a retired Irish Army officer, from whom purchased by the current owner.
