Peter HONE (b.1941). A near pair of plaster plaques, cast in relief with 19th century wheatsheaf swags and drops within cavetto ball borders. Height 21cm, width 49cm, depth 1.5cm. Together with a smaller plaque cast in relief from an 18th century original with an archer's bow and quiver within a laurel wreath, LASSCO mark to verso. Height 21cm, width 30cm, depth 1.5cm (3). Provenance: Latterly the property of Peter Hone (b.1941), the famous modern master plaster-caster, whose extraordinary London home contents were sold by Lay's in 2023. Further details here.
