Forkbeard Fantasy - Leonardo’s Time Ship - The India Rubber Zoom Lens (1992) - a large erectable wooden arched ship structure with silk parachute sails that can be raised and lowered and expanded independently of each other. A large central wooden proscenium to the centre is built on heavy duty springs so the entire structure can rock back and forth. Particularly spectacular when film is projected onto the billowing sails. Operated by levers and cables. Collapsible, expandable and moveable. Arch measures approx. 260cm tall
