Comprising a large silver Imperial Assemblage Medal issued to Surgeon Major W.H. Hayes with citation, dated 18th December 1877, Judicial and Political Dept Bengal Secretariat, in commemoration of the Durban held at Chyebassa on 1st January 1877, title of Queen Victoria Empress of India, on burgundy ribbon, together with a silver India medal issued to Surgeon W.H Hayes, a South Africa medal with three bars ’Transvaal’, ‘Defence of Ladysmith’, ’Relief of Mafeking’, awarded to 705 TPR H. HAYES IMP.LT HORSE’, WWI Defence medal, Sister A. Hayes, together with a Victorian West Indian Regiment gilt metal officer’s waist clasp buckle, three Victorian photographs of Military gents, petrol lighter and cap badges, silver photo frame, hallmarked 1916, set with a Scots Guards Officer’s cap badge and black and white portrait photograph.
