A Chinese Faceted White Metal Cup with Ring Handle and Engraved Panels.
A Chinese metal cup of faceted form, rising from a short stepped foot to a flaring, multi-sided rim. The exterior is divided into vertical panels, each finely engraved with scrolling foliate motifs, birds in flight, and dense textured grounds, creating a strong sense of rhythm and surface detail. One side is fitted with a simple circular ring handle attached beneath a small flat thumb rest at the rim.
