A c1882 Coventry Machinists Co., 'Cheylesmore Club' Tricycle. An open-fronted, rear-steering tricycle numbered 3770. Now in sound, rideable condition, the double driver 48-inch wheels are newly-built, using similar adjustable spoking and bearing hubs, the latter being removeable to allow access through a narrow space. The 15-inch rear wheel has been quality-manufactured. Other features include a spoon brake on each wheel, stirrup handle steering, new long link chain and two spare chain links, an original rear rack and alternative leather saddle. (3)
