Ray Leigh and Trevor Chinn for Gordon Russell Furniture – A GR Series 1 Prestige Range rosewood veneered return end desk, raised to chromium plated strut loop supports and with conforming handles, height 73cm, width 214cm and depth 90cm. The return section on the left-hand side extends out another 70cm, depth 50cm and height 67cm.
Article 10 Transaction Specific Certificate number 589507/01 in place.
Provenance - Purchased direct form Gordon Russell Furniture by the present owner's father as part of the office furniture for the family business circa 1971.

More Information

There is some fading and 'shadow' patches to the surface of the top of the desk and the return end section and also some minor scratches in places. There is a 16cm wide hairline split to the fascia of the top to the right hand corner. There is a small bruise / dent to the edge of the top above the drawers. There is a small chip to the corner of the bottom drawer. The black vinyl panelling appears to be OK. Keys are present. As mentioned CITES / APHA transaction certificate is in place.
