Leike was born in the Netherlands in 1942 and moved to St Ives in Cornwall in 1969. She has been a full member of the Penwith Society of Arts since 1969. Lieke Ritman's semi-abstracted works are celebrated for their intuitive engagement with 'place'. Inspired by the ever-changing patterns and colours of West Cornwall's coastal landscape.
