Australia 1914/1922 1d/2d KGV principally used study in 11 volumes and on pages with countless varieties such as additional frame lines, breaks and plate damage. Many stamps are plated according to their individual characteristics. Several volumes are also sorted according to period of use and accordingly by shades including many elusive items. The varieties are also collected on perfins including OS and OS NSW. Later stamps are even attributed to individual Electroplates. The lot comprises a split block of 25 unused from approximately 1917, the later line engraved stamp in block of eight and mint marginals. There is also of fine range of better postmarks on this popular issue, Bordika, St Helens, Yarragon, Moe, Moore, Lawrence and Willaura to name but a few. This advanced study containing many thousands of stamps, represents a significant and noteworthy effort of a dedicated philatelist, with a handful of other issues also represented.
