A group of five George V WWI medals awarded to R-735 Lance Corporal (later Second L.t) R.J. Fryer of the King's Royal Rifles, comprising: Bravery in the Field Military Medal, 1914-15 Star, 1914-1918 War Medal, Victory Medal, and Croix de Guerre, mounted and framed with copied research paperwork from the London gazette and service record from national archives.
These medals were awarded for the action at Metz village, 4th April 1917 and recorded in the London Gazette of 18th June 1917.
