Victorian burr walnut toilet box with unusual double opening action with various fittings, c. 1880.

There is a deep 20cm crack at the top left corner with several similar scratches/gouges to the right side. The veneer is bubbling and the brass banding is exhibiting signs of separation. There is veneer missing close to the hinged opening. The velvet interior is rubbed, faded and ingrained with dirt and age-related stains. The leather pockets and lining are scuffed and torn in places. Lacking items and not guaranteed complete. Opens and closes freely. Mechanism good.
