An Indian Wood and Bone Inlaid Dressing Mirror on Stand, 20th Century.

A 20th century Indian carved wood dressing mirror, richly decorated throughout with intricate bone inlay. The oval mirror plate is set within a finely inlaid frame of scrolling foliate vines and floral motifs, surmounted by a stylised cresting and flanked by curved openwork supports, all densely adorned with white bone inlay against a warm brown ground.

The circular base features a hinged lidded compartment, similarly decorated with symmetrical foliage, floral sprays, and small bird motifs within a central cartouche. The edge of the base is detailed with geometric inlay borders. The whole is raised on three slender, outward-curving legs, each extensively inlaid with continuous scrolling vine patterns.
