4th Queens Own Hussars Officers Full Dress Peaked Cap, fine example of a Great War period officers full dress peaked cap with fine silver gilt officers cap badge to the front. Thin patent chinstrap with plain domed side buttons. Bullion rank bar to the cap peak. Fine beige leather sweatband and Hamburger Rogers & Co tailors details to the crown. Accompanied by a similar example with field service / trench cover but the cap has no peak and shows a lot of wear. Believed to have been owned by the same officer. (2 items)
