£580
An early 19th Century pearlware cow creamer and cover, she decorated with tan wavy lines and black leaf shapes, rear firing hole with incised detail, all to a rectangular base glazed in translucent green, unmarked, length 14cm, height 11.5cm, A/F.
The cover is a new replacement made by a professional restorer. The colour match is fair to good but it is clearly visible that it is a replacement.
The cow has no ears behind the horns however under close examination these areas appear to be under the glaze.
There is a fine hairline/seam crack running down the cows chest through its stomach to the udder, it follows a mould line.
There is glaze loss to the base, it could possibly be an occurrence from firing where the glaze has not taken.
