The Stratford upon Avon Studios Applied Art, a twentieth-century silver-coloured metal rose bowl, modelled in the form of a Monteith, applied with civic armorials below an arched rim chased with ships, with lion mask and drop ring handles, the foot inscribed "To Ferres Daniel from the Court of Directors of the Royal Exchange Assurance on its Bicentenary June 22nd 1920", height 24cm, diameter 29cm, weight 1,748g/56.19ozt approx Note: For a similar example see Sotheby's Olympia, 14 December 2004, Lot 352.
