AN ISLAMIC SILVER AND BLUE AGATE SIGNET RING WITH ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY. - An Islamic signet or amulet ring featuring a silver metal setting and a prominent oval blue cabochon stone. The stone is decorated with intaglio Arabic calligraphy, featuring the word Allah at the top, with the remaining script arranged in a stylized decorative composition. The incised lettering is filled with a black pigment to enhance legibility. The metal setting includes a scalloped petal-form bezel and shoulders with open-work geometric piercings.
