A PERSIAN MINIATURE PAINTING OF A HUNTING SCENE SIGNED IMAMI, 20TH CENTURY
The composition features multiple figures on horseback in traditional Persian attire, including tall hats and patterned tunics, hunting leopards and gazelles with bows and swords. The landscape includes cypress trees, a flowering fruit tree, and two mythical birds in flight. The central image is enclosed by concentric borders in gold, blue, and red. A black ink inscription at the bottom centre reads Raqam-e Imami.
