TWO ANTIQUE WILLIAM & MARY STYLE EBONISED SPINDLE BACK CHAIRS, one an armchair the other a open chair. Each with matching carved scrolling foliage crest rail & four half-turned half-flat spindle uprights held between a pair of turned uprights each with a scroll carved skirt detail to the end, both with woven cane seats in excellent condition, raised on turned leg united by turned stretchers. The arms to the armchair with scroll end. Both in very good condition. Nice set. Dimensions of armchair: 122 x 63 x 58cm (H x W x D) height to seat: 46cm. Open chair: 121 x 47 x 50cm (H x W x D).
