A large late Victorian, circa 1880 carved gesso and gilded overmantle mirror. With dome top and carved, mounted gesso pediment decorated with flowers and leaves and a carved cartouche to the centre. Containing the original mirror plate, the frame has an external beading and a carved pattern to the facing, with a mixture of foliage and flower heads. There are C scrolls to either side of the bottom. Approx. 143cm x 135cm x 10cm.
