MASONS MALLET SALT GLAZED WHISKY JUG. 7.9ins tall. T.t., upper dark brown, lower mid brown salt glaze. Wheel decoration to lip (thin old sliver) & shoulder section. Plethora of sprigs, both large & small cover all the lower mallet area - largest is a coat of arms with standing lion & unicorn. All other sprigs typically windmill, trees, beehive in foliage, drinks, masons symbols etc. Great character, crude manufacture, uneven body sheen.
