A 1:127 SCALE WATERLINE, POSSIBLY PROPOSAL, MODEL FOR THE FERRY ISLE OF SARK, BUILT BY WILLIAM DENNY & BROS, DUMBARTON, 1932


the 28in. carved hull ebonised above the waterline with white topsides and beige painted deck with some silvered fittings including capstan, winches, deck rail, binnacles and stern helm, simple carved wooden fittings including covered lifeboats in davits, stayed funnels and masts with navigation lamps, depicted on a calm blue sea formed base with brass nameplate inscribed ISLE OF SARK CROSS CHANNEL PACKET with glazed wooden case -- 14 x 37½ x 12in. (35.5 x 95 x 30.5cm.)
