A Framed Islamic Calligraphic Composition with Floral Roses and the Kaaba, 20th Century.

A finely rendered Islamic calligraphic composition in ink and colour on paper, framed and mounted, featuring large interwoven Arabic script surrounded by blooming rose motifs.

The central field is dominated by flowing, bold calligraphy arranged in sweeping, intertwined forms, each letter carefully outlined and filled with dense script. The composition is animated by stylised pink and red roses with green stems and leaves that weave rhythmically through the calligraphic forms, creating a harmonious balance between text and floral ornament.

To the left of the composition appears a small architectural vignette depicting the Kaaba within the courtyard of Masjid al-Haram, complete with surrounding arcades and distant architectural elements, adding a devotional focal point to the piece.

Approximately 57.2 x 47.4cm (incl. frame)

Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished British gentleman.
