Collection of Vintage Studio Pottery – Including Dunoon Ceramics (Scotland) & Hand‑Thrown Stoneware Lidded Pots, Jug, Mug & Decorative Pieces (Shipping Available).

This attractive lot features six pieces of vintage British studio pottery, most of which are stoneware forms with earthy glazes typical of the 1970s–1980s craft movement. Several pieces show clear maker’s marks, including a fine example stamped “Dunoon Ceramics – Scotland.”

The group includes both functional wares and decorative items, ideal for collectors, cottagecore interiors, or lovers of handmade craft pottery.

Items included (as seen in the photos): Dunoon Ceramics Lidded Stoneware Pot – with impressed circular stamp reading Dunoon Ceramics, Scotland. Rustic oatmeal and honey glaze. Large Two‑Handled Lidded Casserole / Serving Pot – with warm ash‑brown glaze and internal maker's mark “Clay Pits” (or similar), likely from a small British pottery or local Scottish studio. Medium Lidded Stoneware Pot – hand‑thrown with subtle speckled cream glaze; impressed potter’s mark visible. Small Lidded Stoneware Keeper Pot – matching glaze style to the above, ideal for sugar, spices or storage. Hand‑Thrown Creamer / Milk Jug – with attractive brown banded glaze and pulled handle. Decorative Ceramic Tealight House / Lantern – dome-shaped and pierced, giving a warm glow when lit; handmade with carved window detailing. Stoneware Mug with Rustic Animal Design – etched decoration featuring rabbits/woodland scene.

History & Appeal:
Studio pottery in Britain saw a resurgence in the 1960s–1980s, influenced by the Bernard Leach tradition of functional, hand‑crafted stoneware. Many potteries across Scotland and England experimented with ash glazes, natural clays, and unique potter’s marks. Dunoon Ceramics, founded in Scotland in 1974, later became famous for their fine bone china mugs, but early stoneware pieces like this one are far scarcer and very collectible today. Handmade studio pottery remains popular with modern collectors who appreciate the individuality, craftsmanship and organic textures of small‑batch ceramics.

Condition:
All pieces appear in good vintage condition, with no obvious cracks or chips visible in the photographs. Minor age‑related glaze variations, light crazing or base wear should be expected due to their handmade nature. Sold as seen.

Shipping:
Shipping is available. Each pot will be carefully wrapped to ensure safe delivery.
