A William IV silver teapot, hallmarked for London 1835 by Edward Aldridge I & Edward Aldridge II, the body richly decorated in repousse with scrolling foliate and cartouches, the hinged domed cover with floral finial, within a shaped and moulded rim, the scroll handle with acanthus-capped terminals, opposing a curved spout with foliate detail, raised on four cast scroll feet, approximately 29 cm wide, 16 cm high.
