A fine pair of mid-18th century George II silver candlesticks, by Ebenezer Coker, London 1757, each raised on a stepped square base richly cast with shells, scrolls and acanthus ornament, the bases rising to tapering fluted columns, surmounted by openwork Corinthian capitals with foliate detailing, and detachable sconces with gadrooned rims, the bases and sconces engraved with a initials, 31.5 cm high.
