An impressive Art Deco large aquamarine and diamond demi-parure. The rectangular 24 step cut aquamarine of 40ct approximately, set in platinum with 24 round cut diamonds, the 12 largest diamonds of 0.03ct each, the corners with trapeze cut black onyx, all in a claw and millegrain setting, 36mm x 27mm, 15.34g; the ring set with an eight step cut aquamarine of 8.20ct approximately, surrounded by 12 small round cut diamonds and with black onyx accents, size M, 7.46g; the platinum clip earrings each with an eight cut rectangular aquamarine, each of 2.20ct approximately, and each with eight round cut pave set diamonds, with a clip back, 13 x 11.5cm, 5.92g. The large brooch aquamarine has many scratches. The facets on the front of the stone has tiny nibbles. The scratches are visible to the eye. The back of the stone also has scratches. No missing stones. The metal is good. The ring stone has facet nibbles and a facet chip. Light surface scratches. The chip is just about visible to the naked eye. One the back of the stone the facets are worn and scratched on the raised highest egde. No missing diamonds. The metal is good. The earrings have some scratches but mostly good. The metal is good.
