A 1920s Arts & Crafts heavy carved panelled oak monks' bench / hall settle. Of Gothic revival, the settle with lion mask handles and a rising hinged seat. Inscribed ' John Whatton Katherine ' and ' Gods Providence Is Mine Inheritance '. Heavily carved panels and backrest with shaped elbow supports.
