This upcoming sale includes a remarkable private collection assembled over a lifetime by the late Barry Sharman.

Known within modelling circles for his patience, precision, and eye for detail, Barry dedicated countless hours to the creation and curation of scale ships, military vehicles, and dioramas. Much of the collection is scratch-built, reflecting not only technical skill but a genuine passion for the subject.

Unlike many collections that evolve for resale, this was built purely for enjoyment and display. As a result, the pieces remain fresh to the market, having never previously been offered for public sale.

Examples from the collection have been seen at exhibitions and shows over the years, admired for their craftsmanship and authenticity. Now, for the first time, the collection is being released, with the family hopeful that each piece will find a new home with collectors who will appreciate the work and dedication behind it.
