1943 All Hallows By-The-Tower Rebuilding Fund. Superb group of 18 imperforate colour trials labelled A-R, three for each design and mounted on four Bradbury Wilkinson presentation cards. The six chosen colours annotated 'Approved' and initialled. Offered complete with the original Bradbury Wilkinson envelope which is annotated with the chosen colour reference and the date of return of each card. 20.2.43 or 18.3.43. All Hallows was the oldest church in London and destroyed by German bombers in 1940. The stamp were sent to all who contributed 5 shillings and over to the rebuilding fund.
