A rare early 19th century continental foot artillery officer’s sword, with gladius style double edge fullered blade, 57cm in length, with brass claw guard and lion’s head pommel, leather covered wooden grip (some damages), overall length 72cm, lacking scabbard

There are some damages to the grip, particularly along the leather, the guard is somewhat loose, some pitting and old rusting to the blade, but commensurate with age
