Louise Gardelle (born 1944), a studio pottery bowl depicting a recumbent lady with label to underside Louise Gardelle France Potfest Park 25/7/08. Height 7 cm, diameter 20 cm, together with a Peter Waring bowl and another studio pottery bowl with impressed mark MC.
The bowl with the recumbent lady has an over glazed firing fault to the outer rim, there is also another glaze chip top the left-hand side rim just above her feet. The Peter Waring bowl is in excellent condition, no signs of any chips, cracks or restoration. The third bowl has chips to the glaze on the outer rim, the largest approximately 3 x 6 mm.
