A TROMBASH THROWING KNIFE OF THE MANGEBUTI PEOPLE. The blade 27 x 19 cm of a pronounced hook form, with slender tapering point and four pierced holes towards the grip. On a flattened copper bound grip. 44.5 cm. "The Mangbetuti call their language mangbetuti, a language of the Nilo-Saharan group. There is a tradition that this tribe practiced cannibalism.
