REBUS MINI-LETTER, 1d RED '2 MEN IN BOAT' FRONT, DOODLED COVER, EARLY DRAWN PPC, ETC.; Unusual c.1850-1898 lot inc. c. 1850 mini-letter (no env.) with neatly drawn & coloured pictorial Rebus letter, piece with similarly styled small watercolour, c.1865 front (faults) with 1d Red as sail on rocking rowing boat, 1888 wrapper (cash-paid with scarce "MANCHESTER/PAID" cds) which has been opened out (by the addressee presumably) and used for some very fine ink-drawings of female nudes & men's faces, and 1898 PC with comic coloured hand-drawn view of 4 boys in a shoe ("Let 'em all come").
