A rare large all original wax over composition lady doll, English circa 1860, the elongated face with fixed blue glass eyes, painted brows and smiling mouth, pearl earrings and brown wig in bun, decorated with garland of cloth flowers, moulded bosom and on a cloth body with wax over lower arms, wearing a high waisted pink silk dress with low neckline, netting to skirt, bodice laced at back, and white bloomers, 30" (76cm) tall, (condition: some cracks to head, slight loss to hands).
