Vintage Dark Stained Wooden Four Tread Step Ladder with Slatted Platform

A vintage wooden step ladder constructed from dark stained softwood. The ladder is built with a standard A-frame design, featuring side rails that taper towards the top. It comprises four treads leading up to a rectangular slatted top platform. The structure is reinforced with a metal spreader bar for stability and metal hinges at the apex. A paper auction lot label bearing the number 098 is affixed to the exterior of one side rail. No maker marks, manufacturer stamps, or patent dates are visible on the object. The design is typical of mid-20th-century household or decorator ladders.
