An Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Ring, circa 1920, of geometric rectangular openwork form, the central cruciform with tulip flowerheads set with round transitional-cut diamonds, framed with millegrain-set calibré-cut sapphires, unmarked mount tests as 18ct white gold, setting height 9.7mm, size R, 2.9g
The diamonds are very bright and lively, one of the tuliphead diamonds has possibly been replaced. The sapphires are a well-matched dark blue and untested, two have large surface chips. The mount has general surface wear with several join marks around the shank. Overall in good condition.
