We are a Harrogate based auction company, selling household contents and furniture. Weekly sales held on a Saturday with viewing on a Friday evening and before the start of the sale on Saturdays.
We accept absentee bids as well as open on the sale day for in house bidding, or you can use the bidding platform.

1. Bidders are required to register before bidding either in house or via the online platform.
Absentee bids require the auctioneer to bid on your behalf up to and £5 over the hammer price and where 2 absentee bids have been placed for the same amount, the first placed, shall win the item.
2. Bidding increments shall be at the auctioneer’s sole discretion. There is a
minimum starting bid of £10 for each Lot.
3. The buyer shall pay the hammer price together with a premium thereon of 20% plus VAT. Please visit for fees addedwhen buying through their platform.
4. Payment is required immediately after a Lot is sold.
5.Collection Of Items (a) The ownership of any Lots purchased shall not pass to you until you
have made payment in full. (b) You shall take away any Lots that you have purchased and
paid for no later than two working days following the day of auction after which you shall be
responsible for any removal, storage and insurance charges. (c) No purchase can be claimed
or removed until it has been paid for in full.
6. Non-Payment Or Failure To Collect Purchases If any Lot is not paid for in full and taken away in accordance with these Conditions, we, on behalf of the seller, shall be entitled to exercise all or any of the following rights: (a) to proceed against you for damages for breach of contract; (b) to rescind the sale of that Lot and/or any other Lots sold by us to you; (c) to resell the Lot and you shall take responsibility for any charges which incur from that sale; (d) to remove, store and ensure the Lot at your expense; (e) to charge interest at a rate of 1% on the total amount due whilst the full amount remains unpaid for more than two working days after the sale; (f) to retain that or any other Lot sold to you until you pay the total amount due; (g) reject or ignore bids from you or your agent at future auctions or to impose conditions before any such bids shall be accepted. (h) to apply any proceeds of sale or other Lots due or in future becoming due to you towards the settlement of the total amount due and to exercise a lien on any of your property in our possession for any purpose.
7. All members of the public on our premises are there at their own risk. The auctioneer and our employees will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained on site. 8. Whilst buyers are strongly advised to attend the auction or viewing, we will accept absentee bids, instructed clearly and in writing to bid on your behalf. When the absentee bid is placed, the auctioneer will assume that the bidder has accepted responsibility for the description of the item. Where two or more commission bids at the same level are recorded, we reserve the right to prefer the first bid so made.
9. The seller must sign a declaration to allow the agent to sell the items, and that they are the legal owner and hold title to sell the items upon entering them for sale.
10. Prospective buyers are given the opportunity to view and inspect items before any sale. Condition reports maybe available to assist buyers unable to view by providing a report, but these are our own opinion and are there for guidance only and no responsibility is accepted for accuracy. All descriptions are at the auctioneers discretion.
11. We shall have the right, at our discretion, to refuse admission to our premises or attendance at our auctions to any person.
12. All electrical items will be PAT tested and will be identified as working in the catalogue, unless otherwise stated. Where the item is marked as working, we will guarantee the said item for 5 working days after the auction date, and complete a full refund if faulty.
It is the buyers responsibility to arrange postage/shipping and the auctioneer takes no responsibility for the organising. If goods offered for sale will require postage/shipping after buying the item, this MUST be made known to the auctioneer BEFORE HAND and we have the right to refuse bids on this policy.
