1881 3d Rose Pl.20. Very fine used example lettered NI, neatly cancelled by a London squared circle postmark for JA.29.1881, over a month before the issue date of March 1. This stamp almost certainly emanating from one of the extra registration sheets that were not needed and subsequently perforated and distributed as normal, in this case prior to the official date of issue. Very unusual. 2006 BPA Certificate. SG158.
