VERY RARE COMPLETE PRESTAMP "PAR[LIAMENTARY]. PRO[CEEDINGS]." WRAPPER; Fine 10 July 1839 folded wrapper to Exeter (printed address label to "Edward Divett, Esq., M.P.") with printed "Par. Pro." heading and "(FREE.)" imprint at foot, the address label tied by a very fine London crown-on-top "FREE/E" datestamp. Very few pre-1840 examples of these specially printed Par. Pro. wrappers - arguably the forerunners of the 1840 Houses of Parliament envelopes - have been recorded. Exhibition Item.
