AN ANGLO SAXON BUCKLE PLATE OR STRAP END. Anglo-Saxon or earlier buckle plate or strap end, probably c.600-800 AD. The piece formed of two copper-alloy plates, the top surface with ring and dot decoration, the base with tow ring decorations. The two plates held by one remaining rivet. Overall 29 mm long.
