A silver mounted Plantation walking stick: (assay rubbed) together with a bras handled walking stick inscribed 'Col C M Hoskyn CBE DSO', the screw brass tip enclosing a steel ground spike and a natural stick of writhen form (3) *Note - Chandos Benedict Arden Hoskyns (1895-1940) served with the Rifle Brigade on the Western Front and Salonika during WWI. After serving in India and Malta between the wars, in WWII he was in command of a battalion during the siege of Calais ,1940 where he was mortally wounded.
