A WEDGWOOD MEDICI PATTERN (R4588) DINNER SERVICE, comprising an oval meat plate, length 36cm, an oval serving dish, length 28cm, a pair of circular twin handled tureens and covers, a sauceboat on stand (the stand has a raised rough patch of clay fired to the base next to the W of Wedgwood), twelve dinner plates, (five have wear /faded decoration to the shell border, another has four stained cracks to the foot rim and another has three inclusions in the glaze to the front of the plate), six soup plates, (one has loss to blue glaze on rim, another has a black inclusion to the centre of the bowl), six soup coupes and six saucers, (one soup coupe lacks factory marks, another has inclusions in the glaze to the interior, three saucers have green dots painted on the undersides), fifteen dessert/ starter plates, (one has a fired on raised rough patch of clay to the rim), nine dessert bowls, (one has small patch of loss to rim decoration), a tea pot and cover, a coffee pot and cover, a milk jug (black inclusions to inside), three small saucer dishes, diameter 13cm, five saucers with 6.8cm diameter wells to the centre, seven side plates, (one with chinagraph writing to the base), six tea plates, ten tea cups, six saucers, (one has fault to the glaze on the underside and another has raised fired on clay over the factory mark), six coffee cups and six saucers (all six have green painted dots to the underside) (112) (Condition report: any damage noted is mentioned within the description, the set has signs of moderate wear, although pieces are not clearly marked as seconds a proportion of the set may well be)
