A Bukhara Silver and Coral Necklace, Early 19th Century.

The necklace is composed of a linked silver chain suspending a prominent horizontal plaque of elongated hexagonal form. The plaque is bordered with small turquoise-coloured inlay elements and centred with three raised settings containing dark red stones.

Suspended below is a series of articulated pendants, formed from multiple chains strung with cylindrical coral beads and spherical silver elements.
