A limited edition Hector Miller for Aurum silver and gilt chalice. Commemorating the marriage of HRH Prince of Wales and Lady Diana on 29th July 1981, gilt to the interior and decorated with three silver gilt heraldic beasts rising from panels of blossom on the foot, the beasts in the form of a dragon to represent the Prince; a griffin to represent the Spencer family; and a phoenix to represent St Paul's. Numbered 335/1000 to base and inscribed 'made by order of the Dean Chapter of St Paul's...'. Hallmarks for Hector Miller, London 1981. H16.8cm, weight 393.5g.
Appears in an excellent condition for its age, no scratches or dents, sits flat, light surface marks to the silver, a couple of small knicks to the rim of the base
