A Pair of Baldwin Brass and Copper Mixed-Metal Candlesticks
A pair of mixed-metal candlesticks attributed to Baldwin Brass. The items are constructed primarily from brass, featuring baluster stems and flared candle cups. Distinctive floral bobeches, crafted from copper, are positioned beneath the cup and above the base. The candlesticks stand on square, four-footed brass bases. The bases exhibit detailed scrolling relief work, retaining visible remnants of a light-colored residue or enamel in the recesses. No legible manufacturer markings or hallmarks are visible. The items stand 6.5” Tall.
